Hello Ales, thank you for your message. My van is the T5 Rockton 4motion with DiffLock. It’s a superb vehicle for daily drive and travel. No problems here. I don’t have any experience with the T6.

I made a detailed plan on 1/1 scale, inspired by the traditional instruments and an electric instrument built by the canadian Bill Hemy, but with quite a lot of personal adaptations ( mainly simplifications ) permitted by the electric nature of the instrument. The mechanics of the clavichord are pure traditional and have the same sensitivity ( dynamics, bebung etc) as the originals, but the electric amplification amplifies not only the overall sound but also the dynamic range : the difference between loud and soft becomes bigger and the bebung is very well audible. Mechanical noises are (almost) not amplified. To be honest: it still sounds a bit "electric" compared to the real thing. But at least your audience can hear you. The electromagnetic pickups (from bass guitar) don't work with the traditional (brass) strings, so I had to use steel strings. I made al the parts myself except tuning pegs ,strings and pickups. A warning : the sensitive nature makes playing the instrument a hard, unforgiving, but rewarding exercise: you hear every nuance from every finger on every note. Frans Ieven thank you for your answer. I am currently trying to build one and I came across various E-clavichords but none if those had plans. I also find yours to be the most "natural" in the sense of sound and expression. Do you have any the plans or manuscript you had while building this?

And another question, does it sound without any amplification on?
